Free all night in red!

In a sea of ruffled, bandaged, one-shouldered, bedazzled red dresses, these two stuck out refreshingly. So downtown at the midtown-located Providence club, the cropped tees and jeans was fresh again.

What's Memorial Day without a cookout? Over on the west side of Harlem, across a bridge, right off the East River me and a few friends had a cookout in the park. Complete with spirit-infused fruit [eeek!].

If I had to personify the Chanel's new bronzing powder, Soleil Tan De Chanel, it would look like the collage above. With sequins to make up for the lack of shimmer, chic celine clutches and torn tees to illustrate a bi-polar, lackadaisical style sense--pulled together, all over the place. Ah Chanel, how I long to blush my cheeks with thee!

Fair skinned girls, try the Bronze Rose
Deeper complexioned girls, try the Bronze Corail

It's limited addition, at $50 bucks for an all-in-one grab it before it's yesterday's news! //BUY IT//

He mashes shit up with tons of PhotoShop filters and probably self-honed techniques and combinations that he's have to kill you if he told you. What ever the process, this guy's prints are wonderful and refreshing. For more shots and product applications, go //here//

Brit-girl and Opening Ceremony buyer, Kate Foley has cute digs, cute tatts and a cute crib! Probably the best home feature Refinery 29 has done, here's a few things I came away with:
1. white socks and Mary Janes
2. Visit Stella Dallas Vintage
3. Look out for new Central St. Martins trained designer Yasmin Kianfar
4. Mix hair dye with conditioner for a softer look...not that I dye my hair myself. But if you do...

And her name is Suzanne Rogers. But it really goes without saying that the philantropist and fashion enthusiast lives in absolute luxury! From the French Victorian furniture and design to the label uposn label of pieces by category.

And I don't mean category as in spring...summer...black...neutral. That's for common shoppers like us, with no designer connects. For Rogers, personally friendly with the likes of Oscar De La Renta and the girls at Marchesa, she has white lace pieces in Dolce and Gabanna as well as Erdem, two lines who have done the whole delicate lace thing amazingly, beeteedub.

Then there's the 3-moto jackets by Chistopher Kane, 3 Balmain crystal-embellished bow jackets, YSL heels all over the house and 4 baby pink Chanel bags having lunch!

I meaaaaannnn...!

And let's not even talk about the organization. Because I can assure you that that didn't get whipped into tip top just for a shoot. She's unbelievable! And I'm amazed that she exists in...wait for it...Canada!

I tried on 15 pieces in my last H&M visit--don't judge! Three pieces made the final cut--all pictured above with the exception of the culottes which were super cute, definitely Miu Miu-esque, but not the matter at hand.

I was aiming for interview pieces. Your girl is looking for a new gig *insert cheap plug here ->keep me in mind if you hear of a brand manager/production manager position at an accessories company (preferably jewelry)!*

Back to the story, so I had an interview the next week and wore the skirt--partly pleated and all fabulous--with the blouse I also snagged, my A. wang blazer and Forever 21 Miu Miu-esque platform Maryjanes...seems I have an affectation for all things almost-Miu Miu.

For a relaxed look, I wore the skirt again that weekend with my fave vintage top, a vintage lace cami, a navajo pendant neck- and my Aldo laced up wedges.

...and profesh done below, all high.
I was watching Dateline on E! with Steven Tyler on Sunday--the man's style is absolutely inspiring. His feather embellished hair has more style than most can claim altogether! He inspired the first collage. And who knew, Janis Joplin was his inspiration early on.

As for styling tips, blend quality with fast fashion for unique looks and a pocket-friendly budget. You won't mind a little splurge when you wear it all the time! No worries about exhausting it's styling potential--behemoths like Top Shop and H&M will always keep your look fresh.
