A quick look ahead at the emerging trends from the Fall '09 collections shows that our obsession with opaque and lace tights should shift to embellished, bedazzled varieties.

I'm not excited about this. As a matter of fact, it looks uncomfortable. Ladies, will you be wearing this?

I'm gonna say no. They look a little tacky to me.... and not tacky in a good way...

The Mui Mui ones are pretty cute and look like the most wearable

@ Amanda: the threeasfour one ARE really cute. ladies, check em out here: http://www.threeasfour.com/fall09005.html

@emma: you should make your own! you're good at DIYs

@mademoisellemichelle: riiight! and to wear with shoes!

@ discofunbath: def tacky!! almost offensive, right!?

@torchy: i'm think a tone on tone one would be the best option. Like a sheer blk with blk sequins and beads. And maybe in a swirl design down the leg, not randomly scattered. I'd def wear that!

Thanks for your input ladies!!

the runway exaggerates things u just got to understand that different fabric and print tights are in now such as lace, cotton ect

@ conrad: I def. understand that. See my Christian Lacroix post on identifying wearbale trends in haute couture.

But I also think common brands will try to pick this up. So whether it's runway or not, one can grasp what that means and still not like it.

I do appreciate the innovation in hosiery tho! :)
