Here Judi is pictured in her Cut-It-Out Cocktail Dress, whipping something up in her kitchen. Taken by photographer, Todd Selby (TheSelby.com)

Judi Rosen, a designer who made high-waisted jeans cool before they were cool again, is among my favorite indie designers. Her designs are the epitome of '70s/'80s chic.

Figure-flattering jeans boasts embellishments like latice cut-outs along the side of the leg or denim bows.

The Good, The Bad & The Ugly illustrates a retro sultriness for the girl who wears it, creating curves whether you have them or not. Dresses are sleek where you'd hate to seem otherwise and pintucked at your curves to accentuate not hide what your mama gave you!

Unfortunately, I missed the clearance sale when she closed her boutique in Nolita recently, but you can still scoop bargains on her website.
