What is Kanye West's "Runaway?" Can we call it a visual mixtape of his upcoming project? A gallery of his most recent works? However it's classified, we can definitely call it amazing...all 34 minutes and 33 seconds.
Guest:
"Your girlfriend is really beautiful. Do you know she's a bird?"
Kanye: "No, I never noticed that."
Love it! And part where 'Ye plays on his mixer and Selita Ebanks, the Phoenix saved from an accident by 'Ye starts dancing...isn't it a bit sexual as if that's how they intercourse since she's a bird and he's an entertainer. I know that's not just me!
The layers of meaning and superficiality and egotism run so deep. It's absolutely intoxicating and sickening! Kanye, you're my hero.

WhoWhatWear Daily has their shining moments and one's that I really file in my fashion reference section in my mind. These posts go hand in hand and right into that file. It's xeroxed and slipped into a bunch of different files labeled fashion icon, rock & roll style, textured dressing, fall looks...and Zoe Kravitz, because she has to have a file of her own!

An amalgamation of apparel, shoes, jewelry and art, Tenoversix is an amazingly curated boutique in LA. I got a taste of it when they were starring in a pop up shop at The Future Perfect last Fall.
So how excited was I to come across the home diary of one of the shop's buyers, Kristen Lee. A lounge area in the kitchen over a kitchen table?! Amazing!

Bohemian, pretty, bold and funky, masculine and feminine. A friend emailed me the link to this post from WhoWhatWearDaily to say how much 90210 star, Gillian Zinser's style reminded her of my own.
That leopard'fit!? I must say I agree!
The design partnership between Jack and Lazaro is like a romantic, beautiful destiny. As simply put as that. Their opposites combine to make something new. Their similarities and harmony is what keeps them together.
Other than respecting them as designers, I just love their shades and their Fall '10 collection to bits and pieces!

When I asked for nylon thigh highs at American Apparel, they had no idea what I was talking about, though the Brian Reyes runway shot in this collage by Fashionologie gets it. I'll find 'em and when I do...I'll be sure to let you in on the deets!

When O.M.O. editor fave, Anna Dello Russo was rumored to be leaving Vogue Nippon for W when seen leaving the offices, the fashion world went buzzing. But now we see that she was really telling all about cat pee shoes at 13 years old and loosing a husband to closets! Juergen Teller captures the editrix for the November 2010 issue. You have to read the article! See more //here.//

Are marking off your calendar until November 23rd? The launch date and the opportunity to fight over H&M x Lanvin collaboration pieces before even really looking at them is steadily approaching. Luckily there's ads and sneak previews to create a grab list in advance!

Mocada Musuem

Slinky and drapey and dramatic. Long and neutral and layered.
Be minimalistically wonderful for Fall 2010. Although...the only thing I would add would be a bold lip and an arm full of bangles.

If only I were famous and the paps followed me on a fast food stop with my girls!
One of the many random pitstops of the night, would be followed by voguing at Empire Room to my anthem song, Chelly's "I Took The Night," closing the night out at Providence...even chatting up subway workers on break as we rested our feet at Columbus Circle before the cab home.
Oh my city...New York, how I love thee!

If you actually still haven't seen or heard about this Kanye West Edition of XXL, it's time to heave that rock you've been hiding under and face the warm sunlight of all the amazingness that is Mr. West.
He talks about his hiatus, plans for the future, etcetera, etcetera...But what's so wonderful is that it's chock full of quotes to live by just like his famous, "If you can't be used, you're useless." The cherry on top is definitely all the inspiration shots of ridiculously luxurious things like Versace chalices.
