With winter weather sneaking up on us so quickly, my first step of acceptance is always to drift toward those funky layers and accessories that look great but don’t necessarily add to your body temperature. *Enter the fingerless gloves*

Why bulk up in winter gear before absolutely necessary?
So what is a better faux-weather-conscious look than a faux-turban scarf headwrap? It wasn’t until I followed these perfectly simple DIY steps that I nailed it every time.

Place the long straight edge of your folded scarf along the base of your neck, and pull up on the right & left corners, tying a single knot at the top of your head.

After the knot is in place, take the same ends and pull them around to the back of your head and tie a second knot.

Be sure to tuck the straggling ends of the knot underneath so that they are hidden.

Last but not least, take the original hanging piece from the front, pull it up & tuck it under the original knot you made on the top of your head, like so...

How did yours turn out? Be sure to check out the full tutorial //HERE//
