It's no secret that I have narrow, slightly slanted eyes. My mom swears that we have Asian roots [buried in Jamaican and Cuban roots, I guess] and I've always tried to open my eyes by avoiding liquid eyeliner and NEVER lining my lower lid.

Celia of A Fraction Of Fashion and her sister (big proponents on the exact opposite) gave me a slight makeover and played up my eyes, drawing attention to its Asian attributes. Surprisingly, I loved it. And have embraced it, putting on a bold eye everyday, instead of my usual bold lip.

Point is, never hide the beauty that you've been blessed with. Play up those full lips with bold red lipstick. Wear a body con skirt despite your wide hips. If you've got it, [whatever it is] flaunt it, honey!

@beckyxoxo: thanks love!! :)

@nuvanynice: I am def open to style questions. A reader a bit back asked about professional wear--how to make it stylish. I made a whole post out of it:

Before that a reder asked about how to stle around the stephen sprouse x louis vuitton leggings. I posted abot that too:

What's your question(s) love? ..and thats for liking the post!

Interestingly enough the line in your post speaks to me : "Point is, never hide the beauty that you've been blessed with. Play up those full lips with bold red lipstick. Wear a body con skirt despite your wide hips. If you've got it, [whatever it is] flaunt it, honey!"
