Deets: Urban Outfitters blouse [pinned up sleveeves as vest], Forever 21 Dress [DIY cut into a crop top], Forever 21 skirt, Aldo wedges

I definitely turned heads at my family cookout this weekend. The older folks looked super facinated. I loved the outfit and felt super cute but I'd rather not be fashion forward with family. Toning it down at the next cookout...Shorts and sneaks!

Hahahaha! Super hilarious.

I had a similar experience in hanging around family. You love for them to see you express yourself but somehow feel like it can be too much for them at times. I may make errands in my city in certain looks that I'm not sure I'd want to run into familer elders in....skirt's just an inch too short for comfort.

But you're adorable. Love the moshpit of color and designs.

@JASMINE: keep it real! thanks for that. Skirt could have def been longer. But it was a catch 22. If i pulled it down, my whole midriff would have been out! hahha
