It's the "Year of the Gentleman." Or so Ne-yo professes in his new album. But whether he's referring to romance or fashion, this speaks true on the runways.
.

Three piece suits, dandies and hats make a comeback as we say good-bye to strictly skinny pant suits. Also, the AMC hit series, Mad Men, brings us corporate fashion as it was in the 1950s and designers were inspired.
.
Tweeds, wide and flare trousers and boxy jackets took over the fall 08 runways, making this season one about the man who can fill out his suit and carry a wide brimmed hat.

Because men's wear is so limited in the pieces you have to choose from, an easy way to shake up your look is to experiment with textures. A corduroy pant or tweed jacket can bring unexpected surprises to the other items in your wardrobe.

Never caught onto the skinny craze? Here's your chance to make a fashion revival with the wider cut silhouettes in jackets and pants. There's no being a gentleman without an overcoat, now is there? Whether it's purposeful for bundling up or stylishly thrown over your shoulders, it'll be the investment piece for the coming months to complete every look.
