Not too long ago, rolled up pants took over the streets of London and New York. They still linger, even on my ankles. And they continue to evolve from being done on skinny jeans to most recently, boyfriend jeans and personally, harem trousers.
And I'm sure we all roll up our sleeves, but it's permeating our fashion existence as somewhat of a trend. Also a trend is this double exposed look: when a little of your pushed up long sleeve shirt peeks through your rolled up jacket.
All versions exude this Breakfast Club coolness that I love.
From the August 2008 issue of i-D, stylist Stevie Westgarth uses sleeve variations as more than just a way to keep your sweater out of your soup.

It is unlikely that rolled up sleeves will go out of style. It's just too convenient.
I don't think it will go "out of style." But i definitely think it's becoming a fashion statement more than just the convenience that it is. That's really my point. Ya know??
The most important thing in this issue of iD is on page 49.
