Although plush, cuddly toys don't come to mind when I hear the name Karl Lagerfeld, German toy company, Steiff has teamed up with the great fashionite to produce a teddy bear from his likeliness.

The couture teddy bear will be available at Neiman Marcus in September, retailing at $1,400.

Is it just me or would you have mistaken this for a special agent build-a-bear? Along with the earring and the belt buckle, Mr. Bear definitely needs a ponytail.

I have a love/hate relationship with Karl. But even on my most ballerific days I wouldn't splurge on it.
Gave me a chuckle though.

Its really his personality. Sometime I think "this man is so fierce". Then there are the times when he make comments that give me the feeling that he may be a little too full of himself... way past the usual amount of self importance that most designers have.
