I did a serious double take when I saw this ad on the 5 train.

I thought it was just Kanye being his usual cocky self--getting an ad about how great he is for no reason. But there is actually a reason and sponsor behind it. If you can make out the first bullet--it says Absolut, which I thought that was a typo. But the website, http://www.bekanyenow.com/ takes you to an Absolut Vodka website that links to an interactive for this ad! It's all connected, my friends.

Absolut got Kanye to endorse something in a way that seemingly endorses himself. Bet he thought that was brilliant.

The site names a few "symptoms" that Be Kanye tablets may cause: awesomeness, increased appeal, jaws to drop...Where do you get the tablets? Available exclusively in Absolut World ;)
