Spring is looking good in a store where techno chinos and fleece once reigned supreme.

Last October, Old Navy recruited Todd Oldham on their team as creative director--a move that, apparently, gave the family-friendly fashion behemoth a face lift to look 20 years younger.

I walked through the store yesterday, only to get to 34th street from 33rd without walking around the whole block...but I was delightfully surprised to find myself browsing as I made my way to the exit at the other end of the store.

Halter maxis, cute minis, brilliant colors. Nothing said, "Take me on a camping trip," but instead "Take me out for a drink!"

it's definitely been better lately but ironically a girlfriend in the industry sent me an article about how it's overall sales are down. me thinks the middle of the country wants camping gear not drinking wear. boo!!!
