Our very own Samantha, editor of O.M.O.Writes, was out selling her wares this weekend at Brooklyn's Not Just Vintage. If you didn't know, Sam is also a talented jewelry designer. Check out her pieces here and make sure to snatch up some goods.
There were other women there selling their awesomeness. Project Runway's Zulema had some amazing dresses that def had me salivating. Pictures would do them no justice. The detail and intricate workmanship reminded me why she was one of my faves on the show. Keep tabs on what Zulema is up to via her website.
We at O.M.O.Writes live for a vintage buy! Mimi of Lali Bella had cute bags and statement belts that fed our addiction. Make sure to scour your local artisan festivals this summer for her table. Here is one we declare an O.M.O. Writes fave.
I love love love clothes, but accessories are key to a BEAT 'fit! Marie of Funky Lobes and Kaya of Ambiguous Jewelry Art are a Godsend. Some serious work goes into their jewelry and its like purchasing a piece of art.
Kaya's earrings are beyond. No need for commentary.

Like most, I was rocked by news of MJ's death. I didn't feel emotional though until Billy Jean came on today. I started singing it as usual and that's when it really hit me. He's contributed so much to music, dance and fashion and I hope that we all carry that same innovation forward.

Yesterday, I swore I looked like a waiter. I did a million things yesterday and they all called for slight alterations in my outfit.
In the morning: wear a blazer
In the day: change the top and wear a tee and flats
At night: put the blouse back on and the heels
All that may sound like a good plan, but my day outfit came across looking....hostess-like. A graphic white tee with blk pants and flat oxford shoes for comfort. Can you imagine? Prints packing tons of punch take the drab out of the usual vacation wear of shorts and flip flops. From Bonnaroo to Lallopalooza, the summer is booming with musical festivals and these pieces would be perfect. Remember casual does not have to mean boring. Catch you in St. Tropez! (ST is low key ghetto now, so maybe 'Catch you in Ibiza)

The Terry Richardson touch was exactly what the doctor ordered for this patient-themed Vogue US editorial. I need the bra in the shot above. I've been looking for the perfect lace bra to peek out from the side of a slouchy tank for too long now...
This shot is just for comic relief because I'm sure we all go to our doctor's appointments decked out to the nines.

In case of the iso' t-Storms that weather.com warned me about for my trip to DC, I packed two extra pairs of shoes. It was surprisingly summer-time and I came back dressed as such. In a midriff-baring cropped top, a NY chill welcomed me back home.
